No fragrance while burning

I’ve been obsessed with Cereal since I discovered it at Nordstrom and have repurchased it several times. I thought I’d try this sampler to see what else is good (i was particularly interested in rosebud and Sundays). However, I haven’t been able to discover anything with this discovery set since the tiny candles have zero throw. Im super disappointed in this product.

Great scents, very light when burning tho

I’ve been looking for a candle that has a wooden wick since my beloved Nature’s wick candles are slowly being discontinued, plus wanted some more nuanced scents. My faves were fireside and sunday (i looooved rosebud but when burning couldn’t smell at all). That being said, for the price i wanted more. Granted my sense of smell isn’t great, but my husband couldn’t smell them either. Such a bummer,also my two fave scents don’t come in larger sizes either so it’s a miss for now. If they come out with like an extra strong line of their existing scents, boy oh boy I’m gonna brb here.

I loved the discovery set, because i got to smell candles i would otherwise not have purchased based on their scent profile (e.g rosebud). now I know what to choose the next time i order candles!

Loved the Discovery kit!!

Really appreciated this option, right away I knew a few scents weren’t for me, but I was able to pass them on to friends who loved them! The smells were beautiful but subtle, not at all overwhelming! My favourites were Sunday and cereal!! Now buying full size!

OF COURSE THERE were some scents I enjoyed more than others, but this was such a cute way to test them out and which one I want to order as a full-size. Great quality products!

candle care 101

we’re obsessed with wooden wicks (obviously) because they provide a unique & delightful experience, but because our wicks are cut from untreated wood, there may be slight variances in the thickness and grain of each wick. as a result, each candle may have a slightly different burn and may require extra maintenance. please read the below for full guidance on how to properly light and maintain your new candle:

step 1

lighting a candle

on the first burn, allow the wax to fully melt to the edge of the can, both on the first burn and consecutive ones (2-3 hours max)!

step 2

trimming a wooden wick with a mala wick trimmer

on every new burn, re-trim the wick to 1/8” the shorter height allows the wax to capillary up the wick to feed the flame properly.

step 3

snuffing the lit candle with the candle lid

do not burn the candle for longer than 2-4 hours at a time. it's time for a new candle when there is 1/2" wax remaining.
