I imagined the candle to smell way sweeter and not as citrusy as it does (i’m from germany, so i don’t know fruit loops)

Love this set!

I received this set in the mail, and when I opened it, you could smell the “Cereal” candle! Out of the 3 that is in this set, my favourite is the cereal, it’s fruity, and it smells like fruit loops. And hey, who doesn’t like fruit loops? Hahah! Thank you so much!

Great scents, meh execution

I really, *really* wanted to love this candle. The scents in the trial pack are delicious (especially toast! Surprise fave!), but as other reviewers have mentioned the full size candle tunnels. Even worse, when I try to put tinfoil over the top as suggested by the website, only some of the wax melts, leaving a ring of wax still around the outside but enough newly liquid wax to drown the wick. I’m so sad, because again, I really really wanted to love this.

The smell gets 5 stars but the way it burns is disappointing for an expensive candle. Tons of wax build up along the sides this seems to cause the wick to extinguish. Burn times have been 5-7 hours at a time.

Amazing Scents

Love the scents that came in the kit. I will definitely be buying some candles. I really like that they are toxic free.

candle care 101

we’re obsessed with wooden wicks (obviously) because they provide a unique & delightful experience, but because our wicks are cut from untreated wood, there may be slight variances in the thickness and grain of each wick. as a result, each candle may have a slightly different burn and may require extra maintenance. please read the below for full guidance on how to properly light and maintain your new candle:

step 1

lighting a candle

on the first burn, allow the wax to fully melt to the edge of the can, both on the first burn and consecutive ones (2-3 hours max)!

step 2

trimming a wooden wick with a mala wick trimmer

on every new burn, re-trim the wick to 1/8” the shorter height allows the wax to capillary up the wick to feed the flame properly.

step 3

snuffing the lit candle with the candle lid

do not burn the candle for longer than 2-4 hours at a time. it's time for a new candle when there is 1/2" wax remaining.
